As rumored last week, Sony Ericsson today unveiled a new addition to its Walkman phone lineup, the W595. Sony's new music slider will be rolled out in 3 versions, each supporting quad-band GSM/EDGE, while one of them will feature UMTS 2100MHz.
Main features of the W595 include a 2.2" 262k color QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) TFT display, 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture and playback, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, 40 MB of memory and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot for extra memory. Other features include Shake control, FM radio, Java, speakerphone and polyphonic ringtones.
The Sony Ericsson W595 will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2008. Pricing has not been revealed yet.
